A very merry farm Christmas

Man, these last few days have been so busy! The holidays are pure craziness.

Does anybody else feel like December has flown by? Maybe it’s the sleep deprivation talking, but I can’t believe that the holiday season is coming to a close. We had a very merry farm Christmas over here, but I’m definitely looking forward to some down time (and maybe a little extra sleep if I’m lucky?)

Merry Farm Christmas

There’s something incredible about Christmas Day. Now that we have kids, it’s so fun to start new family traditions. Hands down, Christmas is one of my favorites.

I love baking Christmas cookies with the kids, and Ben makes the most incredible gluten free cranberry french toast.

We decided to hold off on getting Finley a Jeep for Christmas, but Ben (I mean Santa) surprised our little one with a mini tractor under the tree. We spent the day playing with the tractor on the farm and visiting with family. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and fun.

…and introducing Fran

After a few days of nonstop family gatherings and Christmas celebrations, we were exhausted. But can you ever be too tired for more goats? Nope.

I’ll post more details soon, but meet our new pregnant goat, Fran! The perfect ending to our very merry farm Christmas.

I would love to hear about how you celebrate the holiday season in the comments below!
